This year, the fall wild turkey season spans the following periods:
• Bows only from October 1–31
• Shotgun or bow from October 15–27
Each hunter may purchase one fall turkey tag, suitable for either a male or female turkey.
Anyone wishing to hunt wild turkeys must have the following:
• Outdoors Card
• Small Game Licence, listed on your licence summary or on the back of your Outdoors Card
• Wild turkey tag for the fall
• Proof of firearm accreditation if you are hunting with a gun (Oct 15–27 only)
Remember that party hunting is not permitted for wild turkey. You may call wild turkeys for another hunter after filling your own tag, but you can’t be in possession of a firearm when doing so.
