The Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security has just voted unanimously to withdraw amendments G4 and G46 to firearms Bill C-21. These amendments would have codified a definition of prohibited firearms that would have impacted certain semi-automatic centre-fire rifles and shotguns popular with hunters.
