The Lanark & District Fish & Game Conservation Club, on November 17, 2024, completed a project at Paddy Lake Dam. After a number of on-site meetings and obtaining approval from the Ministry of Natural Resources, members of the club attended the dam site three times during which they removed the debris below the dam, removed any debris on the sill, removed the old logs and installed eleven new logs.

MNR has stocked Brook Trout in Paddy Lake in the past and have indicated they intend to stock Rainbow Trout in the future. There is now Pike in the lake and Rainbows are less susceptible to Pike predation.

Zone F’s Lanark and District Fish Game and Conservation club, Lanark Stewardship council,Water sheds Canada and the Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority, got together to plant 73 Maple and Black Willow trees as part of a Brook Trout Rehab project along Eastons Creek. Along with the great work by all the volunteers, the project had funding from Cabelas Canadian Outdoor fund and Lush Canada.
