Spanning 9 days, registered anglers will have the chance to hook into 3,000 stocked Trout below the Peterborough Lift Lock. Trout will be stocked for instant prizes for youth on the opening day of the derby, and for high school students on May 1. Thanks to our sponsors, tagged trout will be stocked for cash prizes for anglers of all ages, including 4 grand prizes. As always, the “Big Fish” grand prize package will also be awarded to anyone who catches the elusive, Walter. This year’s grand prize is $1,000 cash. Each angler that registers by April 10 will also be entered into the draw to win one of 20 early bird prizes.

Thanks to the generous support of local businesses, participants can look forward to another year of incredible prizes – everything from fishing rods and tackle boxes, to camping equipment, mountain bikes and cash prizes — over $35,000 in prizes!!

Registration is required for all participants – just $15 for the first child and $10 for each additional child per family registered at the same time. Youth registration includes instant prizes on April 27 for the “Youth Derby” and entry into the “All Ages Derby” too.

Fishing is open to registered adults ($25 per adult) from Sunday, April 27 at 9 a.m. through Sunday, May 4 at 4 p.m.

The creel limit is two fish per person per day.
