Conservation Education Coordinator, OFAH Heritage Centre
Meribeth Burley has worked at the OFAH Heritage Centre from the day it first opened in April of 2010. As Conservation Education Coordinator, she’s had the unique opportunity to see it change and grow over time into the multi-use education facility that it is today. With a Fish and Wildlife Technologist Diploma from Sir Sandford Fleming College, an Honours Biology degree from Trent University, and a Bachelor of Education from Nipissing University, she’s been able to combine her love of the outdoors with her love of teaching. Born and raised in North Bay, she enjoys fishing, paddling and spending time outside. Now residing just outside of Omemee with her two young daughters and husband, she enjoys getting out for the spring turkey hunt, before the mosquitoes wake up.
